I was hoping for some input from you guys on Axis shafts my ? is 300s or 340s will they spine out like 340 MFXs? i shoot the 340 MFXs now an would like to switch cuz the Axis will be closer to the GPI that i like to shoot. My intention is to lower shaft weight
an ad point weight an drop 20grs i think the Axis will let me do this if the 340s match up to MFXs 340s. I would nomaly just go out an buy both ,but you guys might have already crossed this bridge an be able steer me right before i have    :knothead:

THANKS

The 340 spine on the MFX  should be the same as the 340 spine on the Axis.  Both shafts are made by Easton.  Like you mentioned the GPI on the MFX are a little heavier.  The weight tolerance are advertised as being the same.  The straightness of both are advertised as +-.003" but I think the MFX is measure over a 28" span instead of the full length shaft. I switch between easton and beman all the time, I just make sure that the spine is the same.

Thanks Ryan:) that`s what i was looking for. If Easton makes both, do they take the same inserts?

Yup, nocks and inserts are the same, it's the outside diameter that varies, when it comes to the MFX and Axis series.
