Very thankful for a bountiful harvest today. Was headed back to the house from hunting today and saw a bunch of does crossing the river. They kept zig zaging closer and closer to me, but wouldn't cross, then I realized they didn't want to cross were it was icy (our channel froze over a bit today).So I took off my garbage bags, (poor mans waders) and crawled to where I could see the water was open, got up on one knee and not 30 seconds later the first one finally gets on the bank to were I was and gives me a standing broadside @ 17-18 yards. Sometimes you work so hard, then BAM God puts on in your lap.

PS. Bow in pic is up for sale tomorrow.It's got pretty good carma. I have to fund my new Beeler longbow.
