My son and daughter want Santa to bring em some new arrows for Christmas. Where can I get some 2-3 inch LW feathers in pink/purple/black/yellow?

I figure some 1/4 dowels from 3rivers will do for arrows, but they only have 4 inch and up feathers

Send me a PM I think I can help you out! Chris

Also save some money and buy your dowels from Lowes unless you want cedar.

I can help with some 4" feathers. When I make small youth arrows I just cut the backs down to the length I want. Send me a PM with your addy if you can use some. Albert
One stick, one string and an arrow I'll fling!

What I do is always buy full length feathers.  That way, whenever I make arrows for myself, I have leftover pieces to make matching arrows for the kids.  I also use the short pieces to make flu-flu's.  If they are shorter than you want just line up a couple pieces in the clamp and glue them on like that. (for flu-flu's they dont' have to be pretty they just get lost anyway.)  You can also use the short pieces for splicing if you want to make some fancy arrows.

I've come to believe that the keys to shooting well for me are good form, trusting the bow to do all the work, and having the confidence in the bow and myself to remain motionless and relaxed at release until the arrow hits the mark.
