Well, I've been out twice to try my hand with the local rabbits. I've seen all kinds of trails and droppings but no rabbits yet. The area I'm hunting is mostly thick, short cedars. I just can't seem to find any rabbits. There were 3 doe and a cyote on the first day out though. They were pretty cool to watch. The Cyote was following the group of doe about 200 yards behind them. Very stealthy. I'm having fun exploring some North Carolina woods (just moved from PA). Anyone else looking for rabbits yet?....good luck.

Rabbit hunting is great fun. I can't wait to start. I'll be on the bunny mission starting around Dec. 15th.

This weekend a fellow tradganger and a unregistered full time "lurker" will be coming up to chase rabbits and dial in the sidelocks, should be fun, I'll post some photos if we manage to shoot any. Love rabbit hunting, wish it would snow!
