Blood Lights

How many of you folks have used or are using the "Blood Lights"? Do they work well during the daylight hours? Whick one is considered  :campfire:   the best?

Had a group on a blood trail last month. One of the guys broke out one of the "better" blood tracking lights. My six volt spot light worked better. Have not tryed it in the daytime.

I'm not happy with mine at all. It casts too much shadow for me. I can see better with the Wensels little flashlight and it lasts longer.
Mine is the Primos jobby.

I think that a bright white/blue like a zenon or white LED bulb will do about as good as you can get.  It makes the blood stand out better then the white/yellow bulbs on a traditional flashlight.

Other then that brighter is better.
