I just got my buck's skull back from the "cleaners" and mounted it to a walnut arrowhead plaque.  I've very pleased with how it turned out, both with the skull and with the plaque.  A fella by the name of Kenny Latchford makes the plaques, says he makes 6-800 a year.  If anyone is interested in this type of plaque they should give him a yell - he makes a great looking plaque and he's VERY reasonable to boot.  I'm proud to have that ol' rascal looking over my shoulder in my "doghouse".  (BTW, this is the buck in my avatar.)

Looks great. I can't wait to get mine back from this year's buck. Euro mounts are classy looking.

Big Al, the mount looks great. Who are your "cleaners"?

A local fella here in WV did it for me, kind of a cottage industry for him.  From what I understand, Kenny's big thing is he does his skull cleaning with beetles.  My skull was boiled.
