Some of you may remember last year I took a fellow named Aaron, AKA Edmund on here out for stumping and deer 101. Well we had are second outing today. We chased some squirrels around, found where the turkeys had been(saw a huge flock on a piece I don't have permission to hunt      ), killed some P&Y stumps and did a shooting lesson. We worked on getting his elbow down(Bernie has a pic on his page of Full-Draw) and back tension. His draw went from 27" to a full 29" when we were done. Did some blank bale shooting and worked on cleaning up his release and form. A well spent day and he left with some arrows and one of my bows this time!

He also let me know that this year he has found the deer patterns where he hunts and has been within 30 yards a few times. Has his ground blinds built in some good spots and a tree stand up. What a difference a year makes.

A day well spent. Thanks for stopping by Aaron.

That is very cool. Passing on a good traditional point of view. You are one of the good guys, 13.

Had great time with Dave again. Anybody who's meet him knows he a great guy and fun sneak through the woods with.

The bow I picked up is a bute 66'' 50@28 r/d ,real nice. I would put up a pic if I could find the battery charger for my camera.

Dave's right in that I am starting to figure out the deer in my area. I've seen a total of 12 so far but no shot op's yet.

Went scouting today and found a few more promising stands for the regular season. I wil still be bow hunting. Hopefully when I find my charger there will some critter pic's to go with the bow.
Thanks Aaron
