Bob,

Here it is, Moose 48.5lbs minimum at 27.6" draw length and Deer 39.7 lbs at 27.6" draw length. Direct from page 22 Ont hunting regs

David:

Sorry if I am hijacking this thread, but a seemingly odd question comes up.  Does a lesser weight bow qualify if you draw it more?  Case in point, my Shrew is 59#@32 (I draw 32").  That bow is something like just 48# at 27.6"......

My other bow is 56#@32", and likely even less than the legal listed minimum.....

yet both are, at my draw, above the regulation minimum.

I can't speek for Ontario but in BC it's 40 lbs at your draw length but 50lbs for bison/buffalo at your draw length. minimum 7/8" wide broadhead for all.  minimum arrow weight 400 grains and broadhead weight 8.1 grams for bison.

Thank you David, I guess I'll build him a 50 lb.@ 28" and that should cover it.I know his draw is 28" or more and he will probably hunt deer and small game more than moose. Thanks again, Bob
