Hi Guys,
I designed and am producing a new blunt point that 3Rivers is going to market. I think you guys will really like it. It will be heat treated to 40 to 45 rockwell and really holds up well. Just make sure you keep it screwed on tight. Because it is heat treated, if you don't keep it tight and you hit something hard it can snap off at the shank. So if you keep it tight the pressure is against the shoulder and will not snap. They will be made in various weights probably 125,150 and 175 gr. and possibly heavier. I will let 3Rivers do the pictures, but give them a try and I think they will work better than anything else out there.

Sounds great...always looking for a new small game head...

What will they be called, so I can be on the lookout for them.
Sarrel's BlueRidge Takedown Longbow 3pc
62" 53#@28"
Easton XX75 400   250gr up front
Have you noticed that the times you don't get nothing while hunting, are usually the most fun you've ever had.

I call them the Spider Blunt, but I don't know if 3Rivers will use that name or not.

Cool!  When do you expect them to be available?

Agreed! There's a real market for heavier, screw-in blunts. It really sucks having to pay for Judos etc & then have to buy adapters to suit  :(

I like the idea of a 300 gn blunt too because I am now using 300 gn broadheads and need to have the same weight up front to have my arrows properly spined.
