I guess if we run into the bear that is making these tracks, we oughta just get off the trail.......He seems to like it!

JoeM, funny you mentioned Africa. That's where I learned to pose my animals like that. Makes for really nice photos.

Story is shory and sweet. I killed her on my first morning out this year. It was about 25 mins after daylight. I was setup in kind of a swampy spot, below a small lake, and near the stream that feeds out of it. I didn't hear a thing coming because of the grassy terrain, all of a sudden I look down and have deer literally under my feet! I raise my bow about the same time this big girl steps out at about 8 yards. She is quartering toward me ever so slightly, and I'm just waiting on her to turn when she looks right up at me. Well, no time to wait now! I just tucked the shot in tight to her elbow, knowing it would be a clean kill.

She made it about 150 yards, and died just about 40 yards from my truck!!

Thanks again everyone,
Allen
