I think the first book, TBH, above gives you a good starting point though on over all trad archery but this is JMHO.

I agree with others that Bows on the Little Delta is a must read. Excellent book. But the Traditional Bowhunters Handbook by TJ Conrads is very useful for someone just getting started. If I was going to recommend one book for a person just starting out, it would be the Traditional Bowhunters Handbook.

Finding Wounded Deer.... not the best Trad Archery book out there but VERY INSIGHTFUL about tracking the deer after you have hit one...

Of course the books already listed ...Anything by Dave Peterson

Coyote Soul, Raven Heart by Reg Darling...This one spoke to me in a way that a book has not done for some time...

The Traditional Way

Traditional Bowhunters Handbook by T.J. Conrads will prove beneficial to you in many ways long after you are no longer a "Rookie". I refer to my copy often, in season and out. After that I would recommend Fred Asbells book. These will answer many questions as well. Good luck and keep it simple.

Kinda depends on what you are looking for, but T.J.'s TB Handbook is great for fundamentals on a wide variety of archery topics.

An Archer's Inner Life by Dave Sigurslid is an under-recognized gem. Hunting From Home by Chris Camuto is another must-read.
