Dang Barry, that's another beautiful buck!  Nice way to end the season.  Plus that is a great picture.

Wiley Coyote-  No, My brothers and I took our bucks in Illinois. I did hunt Iowa this year but passed on young bucks, and never really had a chance at the big guys. It was fun though. Mike

Mike, my 2008 Iowa buck was more Young than Pope. Every time I wanted to sit one of the good stands, Barry would talk me out of it. He'd say "it isn't really the best wind" or, "you should really sit so and so".

I agree with you on Mike's new book. I talked with him yesterday. I'm really looking forward to it. It sounds like he's really gone all out. From the high dollar, quality paper it's being printed on, to the 132 quality COLOR photos. I've helped edit some of it. This is going to be one of those books that will make the reader think. And that's desperately needed in recent years. No matter what the selling price is, it'll be worth it. Knowledge can't be bought... or maybe it can! :^) bw

Oh, and I should mention Biggie, I really like that big 4x4 I saw in your post on the trophy room thread.  Can I have him?

We plan on printing 334 page book tomorrow, and hope to have it ready by the last week in January; if all goes well with hard cover binding. It's called "One With The Wilderness" (Passions of a Solo Bowhunter) and I will have more details available soon. Information and ordering forms will be available on  www.brothersofthebow.com  .
