Who has experience with shaggie suits in the late season when there aren't many leaves left?

Thanks. I was a little concerned that with everything else mostly being devoid of leaves if they would still be effective. I was sure impressed with it when I used mine in Illinois!  They can get pretty warm this time of year, but the same thing that makes it difficult now is why I'll like it even more in late season.
