wihill - good story   .  btw just for our interest and edifaction some of us like to hear gear details.  I didn't notice any in your story.  ya know draw weight, arrow, arrow weight, BH etc.  helps us keep up with the trends

Gear was a Hoyt GM1, 40#@28 (actually 44@28 on my scale, a bit over 46 at my draw) shooting a Vapor 2000 full length, standard insert, 125g SlickTrick Mag BH, stuffed with weedwacker line to reach ~485gr with 4x 3" parabolic cut feathers.
