I have some XX78 eastons that would work with one of my bows if they were 1 1/2" longer. They was for my wheel bow before going Traditional.I did search and couldn't any thing on footing alum..Is it possible or just buy longer arrows. Thanks Terry

hit or miss

I'm afraid you might be stuck with short arrows with aluminum.  I've never seen any way to lengthen them.

Not so fast! why can't you find a wider arrow shaft to slide over the end...I do it all the time with broken wood arras and also to foot my carbons. Just make sure you have a snug fit and good glue..I'm partial to JB Weld.

Genes got it, Ive sen it done.Find the shaft size that fits snugly in your XX78s and then add a section of xx78 over that.Kind of like a takedown arrow.
