i am looking to get one of these and i was wondering if anyone know how the sizes run. i usally wear a large in all my clothes, but that just because of the size(width) of my shoulders. i tried send ron a pm but his in box was full. no suprise there hes a pretty popular man.

Go bigger, especially since you will likely layer under.  I'm an XL (44), and the light weight is fine as an XL, but the heavy weight needed to be bigger to allow for some undergarmets if I wanted more than my underwear, and a shirt.

They are really nice!

I am 6 feet and 185 pounds.  I have the large lightweight shirt (brown).  I can wear a thick longsleeve shirt and a wooly pully sweater under mine and still have free movement.  Bill

Hows the sleeve length on these shirts?

I'm a 42-44 kind of guy but I'm 6'3" tall, and I usually need a little more sleeve. A large is usually big enough but I run out of sleeve. I weigh 190-195.

They run pretty big.  I am 6'4" and 250# and I *swim* in my XL one (just like Ron said I would).  I like that because I wear a bunch of stuff underneath it but your mileage may vary.

As to sleeve length - I have pretty long arms and this is one of my few garments where the long sleeves actually cover my wrists.

Ron LaClair

Eric, you're a large.  The sleeves are long and tapered so they're not baggy. Most people cuff them up.

beaver, from what you've described I think a large will be ok for you, if not you can exchange it.

Thanks Ron, I've been putting it off, but I think its time to spring for one.

Likely you will have no sleeve issues.  My 38" sleeve length arms just make it.

Ron, how do they fit a short fat guy? I normally were a 2X shirt and am only 5' 8". I looked at them for some time and would love to have one.
