Do any of you have problems getting the judo point to stay in a bow quiver with foam in the broadhead cover? I've also heard that the 135grain tips actually weight close to 145grains. Thinkin of getiin some of these but want to know a little more about them.

Of course I wouldn't think of an answer as simple and effective as that! Man sometimes I wish I could kick my own @$$. Anybody got any info on there weight though. The reason I ask is because if I bare shaft 125 is a bit stiff and 145 is a bit weak so 135 will be great.

I only have 125's but you could always grind a little off the front of the 135's to lighten em up, if they really weigh 145.

I just triplebeamed 3 of my "125" screw-ins and they are 130gr.. "125"s and a brass washer wt.=135gr.

99.9% of my shooting is done year round with judos.  I probably go through a dozen per year.  They say they are unloosable and they pretty much are but only shooting stumps and grass clumps on the ground I still eat them up but they are the best practice for just being in the woods.  I guess they just weren't made to be shot out of 80# bows that much.

Dozer, ya want your bareshaft to be a tad weak because adding feathers and a broadhead stiffens them a tad. Shawn

Many use them to shoot small game while hunting big game.  They are a poor choice and do not kill quickly.  Better off w/blunt.

Practice every day I hunt with one.

Also, Ken Beck offers a tip, to put a drop of gorilla glue and add a dab of water to keep the spring from spinning around the head.
