I got this piece of elk antler from a buddy here on Tradgang. I have somebody that's interested in it. Any idea of the value to a bowyer for a riser or 2? I know its a hard question but thought I would ask anyway. Thanks
Brian

The value is between what you want to get and what he will pay or about 12 bucks a pound at Antler Arts in central Oregon.

A piece that size?  Give it to him and it will come back to you ten fold over time.  You msy not get buried in antler but you will get rewarded.

agreed. give it to him. antler is a renewable resource-there will be plenty to go around. He will have gotten something great, you will feel great for doing it!
