I know I'm not alone in this!

Frank (sticshooter) helped me out a bit shortly after I joined TradGang, something he's continued to do through the years since.  Somewhere along the way Shell became a special friend as well.  I may have actually spoken with her more than Frank at this point, and if you know Frank, the man can talk (how'd you put it Shell?  "Put in a nickle and get a quarter" ?)

I just wanted to say a big public "Thank you" to the two of you!  Well, that and show off some of the items I've either been able to talk you out of or have shown up at my doorstep by surprise!  I can guarantee at least one will always be with me in the woods.

You'll be hard-pressed to find a pair of friendlier or more generous people!  And I know I'm not the only one who feels that way!

I wanted to trade something for one of his knives. He wouldn't take anything for it. He insisted that it was Christmas in July. I saw that he was looking for some burl wood in the classifieds so I went to e#&y and bought him some burled maple and sent it to him. He turned around and sent me 2 knives, with sheaths. I'm talking really nice knives and sheaths. I got their backs. I know that hey would never ask, but if I see an opportunity to do something for them, I'm on it. Thanks for the Merry Christmas. Your knives will go on my first hunt of my life this weekend in the Adirondacks. Thanks again!

Jeremy,

You are a very kind person also.  Ken

Yall got that right about them two! Great Friends, I've never had the chance to talk to Frank, but have talked to Shell a few times, about an hour each time. If Frank talks more than Shell does, I don't want to talk to him. That woman could talk the horn off a billy goat.
If you've never been in the woods at daylight, and seen the world come alive, you haven't " Lived".

Shell and I did a little horse trading earlier this spring. I agree, Shell likes to talk, but I've never regretted one minute I've spent on the phone with her. Genuinely good people.

I'm proud to own a small beaded medicine bag that Shell sent my way.  As busy as those folks are doing things for others and making stuff for charitable causes, that small item means alot to me.  It will be with me on every hunt I make from this point forward.  It has "MOJO", I can feel it.

Agreed!  I've only been able to buy a set of carved antler burr bolts from them so far, but the service was wonderful, and needless to say, the work was outstanding!

A phone conversation with Shell may be a tad long, but it's likely to be highly entertaining as well...
