Anybody out there shoot a Moosejaw, how do like it. Also how would you compare it to a Hill longbow???

At one time I owned 3 of Gary Sentmen moosejaw bows 2 Razorbacks and 1 elite. I am in the minority but I liked the razorback model better than the elite.Gary makes a very duriable hunting bow, not much for eye candy, they shoot very well. Also owned 3 different Hill bows to compare the two I would give a very slight edge to the Hill bows -- more variety, and better eye candy possibilites, thanks Jerry

Does Gary have a current website?

Gary does not have a website.  In fact Gary is not building bows at this time and probally will not start up again.  I spoke with him at the end of July at a shoot and he was putting the word out he was selling off all of his tools. Said for many different reasons he made the decision to stop. He moved this summer from his place in Eastern Oregon over to the westside of Oregon and does not have anywhere at his new place for his tools.  Everything was in storage in the town he used to live in collecting non bow building dust....

yes, Gary has stopped making bows at our last conversation, which was earlier this summer.   I was most fortunate to get two of the last bows I think Gary made... the first is a light weight 35# Elite, which is very nice.  In fact I was shooting it today.  Gary used a very long riser to create a somewhat stiff but quite fast bow for its weight.  Best of all, I persuaded Gary to build one of my Classics for me, a sweet little shoot off your hand bow I really love.  His bows weren't real fancy, just a good performing solid value... well worth it if you get the chance to buy one.
