I finally got off my lazy backside and finished my hunting arrows for the season. These are ash shafts with 175 grain Ace Super Express broadheads on six and 160 grain field points on the rest. The total arrow weight comes in at a little over 700 grains. The decorations were done with analine dye and Shriver's flame cresting templates.

Those are real works of art!! I'd be hard pressed to practice with those. If I did it would be one arrow groups only! LOL! Congrats and Good Luck Hunting!!

Darren, I am taking a set of your arrows - got em at UBM thanks for the donation - out to CO leaving Friday AM. They are POC's but look just like those right down to the 175 Ace heads. Will try to get you a picture with an elk on the end of one.

A little blood on them would be the only thing to make them look cooler. Nice!

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.
