i purchased some of the screwin adapters 3rivers and really like to be able  to use all my old BHs on my wod arrows.  but they keep coming off in my target. i am using the ferllite hot melt glue stick for the points.  is there a better way to install them? i have thought about drillinga hole and putting a pin in them.  i sure someone out there has this figured out.
thanks guysand girls

I have used those with Ferr-l-Tite and not experienced that.

Are you getting it hot enough?

Pushing them on too hard and pushing out too much glue?

Smear a little ferr-L-tite on the taper, heat the point until it's good and hot, and push the shaft into the head while holding it with pliers. Rotate the shaft to spread the glue while pushing. Press the point against a hard surface very firmly to seat the point, then immerse it quickly in cold water. They should stay on doing it this way.

Never lost one doing it the way Don mentions above, but I have had a heck of a time trying to align them. Mine are pretty old, maybe they have fixed the problem by now.

You can use 24 hour epoxy. This will definitely hold, and still gives plenty of time to align your adapter and shaft.
But removal is usually with a saw.
