Has anyone tried a Big Shot shooting glove? Good, bad, ugly?

I use one and love it the only thing it takes a little while to break in.

I have two.  It's the best I've found for me.

It's a personal preference,I've shot a Big Shot glove.A good glove,but they are not for me.I like a cordovan tab.

Like JRY309 said, it's a personal thing. I tried one and didn't care for it.
I just got a Super Glove and so far, so good..

Tom,  I have a full shot you are welcome to try out if you like. It is a large and may fit your long fingers.  Let me know and I will send it to you.

Tried it, didn't like it. I know alot of people who do like it though. Great quality and craftsmanship. Just seemed too "slippery" for me.

i love mine. ive had it a year and it seems as if there has been no wear. its kinda thick for most people but i shoot heavier bows than most so i dont mind the string not digging in my fingers.

Best glove I've ever used.  I have them in both Elk & Buffalo leather...

I like mine, but the index finger tends to twist around my finger, and after a few shots I'm shooting on the seam of the nylon pad. This is the second one I've had, sent the first one back for just this problem. I'm learning to live with it, mainly because it's too much trouble to send back.

If you try one, it will seem tight at first, but will break in nicely for a great fit.

Get one or two, I did.

I bought a couple and didn't care for them. To thick for my taste.

Just got one.  Not sure if anyone else has this problem, but the fingerstalls can rotate a litle, like most gloves.  This isn't a problem for most gloves, but since the nylon in the fingertips of the bigshot is somewhat narrow, it isn't automatically aligned when I go to draw the bow.  Too much to have to worry about when you need a quick shot IMHO.

I've got one and like it.

They seem pretty expensive (compared to the Neet glove) and I wanted to be able to eye-ball one before buying.  I tried on six of the same size and every one of them fit just s little bit different.

I think they are some of the best gloves available.  Since they are elk and buffalo hide instead of cowhide,  they can stretch more than people think.  The best way I deal with this is to soak the glove in water thoroughly, let it dry to shrink the leather and then shoot it.  After is stretches a little more,  sew up one of the side seams just slightly with an awl or take it to a shoe or tack shop to sew for you.  Once sewn,  they don't stretch any more.  This has been my experience anyway.

What Nate (Sunset Hill) says is true.       I got two because of him!  I have a crooked index finger tip and the stall was loose.  I sewed a new seam on the stall side away from the nock to tighten the stall fit.  It worked great for me too.  Of course, I first did the soak in warm water thing and let the glove dry for two days.  Gave it a Montana Pitch Blend treatment and shot it to break it in - then did the stitch up.

If you tighten either the index or middle finger stall, do it away from the nock side so that side by the nock doesn't get long and hang on the nock when you release.  I trimmed some of mine with a razor knife and straight edge.  Be careful around the stitching.

Yes. Absolutely! I have two! As I stated on another post about arthritis. I found that the Nylon strip on the fingers helps a lot too.
