Aim down your arrow because thats where it's going.

Justin Falon

Why does it have the three holes? Are they there to reduce weight?
N/A

Old York

Whoa Nellie, now THAT is impressive!

Nice to see what a thick blade can withstand.

BTW, the 3 holes may be used in the production process to keep registration, alignment...?

What kind of spices do you use and how long do you have to cook cinder before it's tender?

Jeremy

What a crock!  There's no S-shaped wound channel or anything!  :D

It takes a tough head to do that multiple times!!

I think we need more evidence of how strong that Ashby is.

Can you say crossbow?

Can you say tractor weights?
Silence over speed.  Heavier arrows never hurt.

Yep impressive, but in the same breath I have a Snuffer and a Woodsman stuck in the bricks of my old house up to the back of the blades and couldn't get them out. I left them as a keep sake for the next home owner.

There is no doubt they are quality heads, I'll buy 3 for those very very special hunts or for when I know there is no way I'm going to miss and loose my arrow.
Time is a great teacher, but unfortunately it kills all its pupils.

its not missing and losing my arrow i am worried about it is hitting it and having it run off to never be found. i can dig the area up to find that arrow or if you hunt from a tree it should be sticking in the dirt.

however if the animal runs off with it that may be a different story.

I shot a hog with a $30 Silverflame a few months ago. Devastating wound. She only went 35 yards. The arrow hit the ground on the opposite side and she drug it with her thru the palmettoes. Marty's eyeglasses fell out of his pocket while we were examining the profuse bloodtrail. After we loaded the hog we went back to look for his glasses and the broadhead which had broken off the shaft. After a few minutes, he said heck with it, I have another pair of glasses in the truck. I said that's fine, but we're not leaving without the broadhead .....

For less than the cost of three broadheads you too can own the VM13 Broadhead Recovery System! Don't hit the woods without!

Marty asked me while sitting in the turkey blind last spring.."Hey , does that Stringtracker help recover your turkey?"  i said "Sometimes but I find my $40 Silverflame everytime!"  Biggie bought the cheap ones!!!!

I carry magnus2's AND my own homemade heads which only get shot from the air so I know where to look.I fully understand the fear of loosing an expensive BH and ya don't wanna know how much the shop would hafta get for the heads I made    :biglaugh:

Shot from 45 deg's I suspect somethings gonna break BH shaft or both....excellent head for sure a bit outta my range but still
Shoot straight and have FUN!!
