The first few nights after tropical storm Fay we had 5 or 6 deer bedded down in the back and side yard each night.  Today these two came into feed and then one walk over and bedded down...it was about 5:00 p.m.  we watched them for awhile...and they I eased out on the back porch and took these photos.  We have had the mama's come in ...one with two fawn and one with just one fawn.  We also have a young buck coming in...which is a first.  Funny thing about the buck is his tail...or lack of one.  Either...it is deformed and VERY short or...something got it.  He steadily twitches because he has no tail to fight the deer flys with.

I suspect that the deer have a completely different view regarding trespassers, Dina!  :saywhat:

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.
