I just bought 6 grizzly 100 grain  broadheads and i also bought the screw in adapaters in 11/32" and the adapter doesn't go all of the way into the broadhead so that the back of the insert is flush with the back of the broadhead. the adapter stays out a good 1/8" does anyone know whats wrong?  :help:

That's the way they fit. Not a problem.

woodsman,
I chuck my steel adapters into either a drill press or a hand drill. While it is spinning, I use 100 grit sandpaper wrapped  around a wooden ice cream stick, tongue depressor or even my finger and gently use it to sand away some of the adapter. Go slow, check often and try to maintain the same taper degree. Works like a charm and leaves plenty of depth in the grooves in the adapters for the glue to hold.
I don't think it matters if they stick out a little or not, I'm just persnickity I guess.
