Hey all,
gonna take a break from wood & aluminum and give carbons a try - I know, I know. Any way, looking at various brands, size tables, options, etc., I've decided to try the Beman MXF Classics 400's.
I shoot 59 - 63 lbs at 28". If I cut these to 29" or so I think they'll be a bit stiff but I thought I'd use the 100 gr. brass inserts up front to give me a total tip weight of 225 gr. or more. I here that tip weight / FOC is good and figure this'll bring the spine back to about right for my poundage. Looking for some advice from you carbon veterans out there, I'm looking forward to placing my order and getting 'em going soon. Thanks for any input.
