So this Hoyt Dorado showed up in our shop and i wanted to do a little testing. I just did a quick set with the stock components and set a 1/2 inch nock point. Grabbed some 1916's i had made up earlier and went to see how this little bow felt. I like the feel of this bow; its very light and the grip feels nice in your hand. It draws very nice (this one was 45lbs @28) and doesn't stack up. The shot was very nice also, there was a little noisy pop the bow made. But I suspect with a little adjusting of the brace height it would quiet down.

But below is the results of after four shots. Call it luck, but its not bad IMO for just pulling it outta the box and shooting 20 yards.

You're a little high and to the right   "[dntthnk]"

Shooting like that gets expensive!  :D

Keep shooting like that and nobody will shoot hoyts no more, cant afford arrows for it!!!HAHAHA!!! I have a GM2 and shoots better than I can. If thats your bow its a keeper!!
its not the size of the dog in the fight but the size of the fight in the dog

Yeah I hear that..good thing the arrows where technically still owned by the shop ...lol
Although this bow isn't mine, I am considering purchasing one after this.

Nice shooting! I shoot a Gamemaster 2 and like it a lot. I have been curious as to how the Dorado shoots. Thanks for the info.
