whistling WWs

Has anyone tried grinding the bottom edge of the vent to try and stop them whistling, they are spinning good on the shaft, so I do not care to go through and re-heat them. I saw on the site where you can dremel the bottom edge of the vent and was wanting to know how it worked for someone.

Try a liberal coating of vaseline.Hepls stop rust too.

No help here. Never have noticed any noise with mine.

Mine whistle dixie going to the target, they more hiss than anything. More than I can handle. Will try the Vline. Gonna take one and grind it too. just to see.
