Just wondering if anyone knows what the recomended braceheight is for an original silvertip 1 piece and takedown. I had to put a new string on my takedown and can't seem to get it tuned right. Any other ideas would be welcomed.
    Thanks guys!!

I would email the Windauer's at Schaffer. I have emailed them in the past and they are really nice people.

James,

I believe the recommended brace height was around 7.5 inches...I shoot mine at 8.0 inches.

Thanks guys, I will tighten the string up and try the 7.5, I can't believe how much stretch I have gotten on the new string.
  Thanks again
