Here's a bit of a leather accessories build along.   Nothing complex, or even too detailed, but I had some time and wanted to have a set of matching equipment:  belt, hip quiver, knife sheath and possibles pouch.  I wanted a couple of things about the quiver to be just a smidge different than I could go out and buy, and I felt like a project.  I spent the last two days on this, and took a fair number of photos, especially of the quiver construction.   There's nothing earth shaking here... no fine artistic craftsmanship to ooh and aah over... just simple plan it, cut it out and do it work in plain leather.   However, the result was a nice set of archery accessories that I will use for years to come.  I posted my pix on the HHL list web site.  Here is a short link if you want to check it out:

That was a neat little project.   :clapper:   Looks nice.  And easy to make.

Good job! I am in the proscess of re-building a bunch of my gear.. working on an arm guard now and an "old style" back quiver later. Like the natural gold color of the hide you chose too.  :archer:    :coffee:

like that hip quiver. Let us know how it works out- I've always wondered why people don't make them deeper and more secure. Too many blowdowns and stumps and thick stuff here in NC to have to hang onto your arrows every time you take a step.

Very nice project. Wish I would have had more time when I was in Seattle to meet up. Had a great time out there. Did manage to make it to Mt Rainier one day.
