Deadbolt, I too am a new Widow owner and I can tell ya , their not hard to silence. I just used beaver balls installed 1/3 of the string length from each end and it is as quite as any bow I have ever shot.

Harmless...I can quiet it down just fine I use beaver balls/spider leaches and it is quiet but no where near as quiet as the longbow.  I am going to do some more testing and play with numbers though.

 Don't worry.  We'll kill some with both of 'em.  I still haven't decided whether to put some mojo on my 64 kodiak before using my other bows this year.
