I've been enjoying the book "Timeless Bowhunting" by Roy S. Marlow.
It covers material I have not seen in other archery /bowhunting books.  It is latent with more physics in easy to understand terms as Marlow is an engineer.
I especially enjoyed the parts on shooting technique and methods to improve accuracy. He has some ideas that are different.

Yep.  It's a good book.  A little more technical than most, but a good read.  Agreed that he provides some shooting tips/information that I haven't seen published anywhere else. "Depth-of-kill" for example is a concept that few have applied to archery.  That partiucular concept is more applicable to sight shooters than instinctive/bare bow shooters, but interesting stuff nonetheless.

You are right. The depth of kill is a new concept to me. There was a chapter on adapting the shooting to the instinctive by a sort of face walking style going from 3 under and point on to a splint finger and shoot at the feet of the deer that is interesting. I just would really need a lot of practice to commit to that style.
