Whats your favorite hunting song?
I know there are some trad bowhunting CDs out there but I havent had the chance to listen to any. But my two favorite hunting songs are the mossy oak song by tracy byrd and Fred Bear by Ted Nugent.-Scott
Self reliance cannot be bought

Morning Star

Nugent's Fred Bear is the first coming to mind.

Not hunting music, but Waylon in my truck all Fall long is an unbroken tradition for me.  His music takes me hunting and many other places every time I hear it.

Killdeer

Theme from "Gilligan's Island".

 :rolleyes:
Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

I know this is not what you were probably looking for but my choice would be J.S. Bach's Fugue in G minor BWV 578 known to most as the little fugue, but also and more importantly known as "the Hunter". To me that is real music to kill by.   :readit:

Anything by the Allman Brothers.
Someday you and I will take the Great Hart by our own skill alone, and with an arrow. And then the Little Gods of the Woods will chuckle and rub their hands and say, "Look, Brothers. An Archer! The Old Times are not altogether gone!"

Chad K. Slagles music is great. That's all I've had in my truck for a while now.
