I have spent a lot of $$ and time buying and trading bows since the end of last season and have settled on 2.  Still up in the air which will be primary and which will be the backup.  
I have also picked the arrows and broadheads to shoot this season.  Luckily both bows shoot the same arrow set up.  Our season in here NC open in seven weeks, Sept 13, and I am ready as far as gear.  Now it just a matter of getting mentally ready and practicing.

I think I'm all set. I'll be using my new Chinook with AD's tipped with a couple limited edition Silverflames and a few Abowyers. My backup bow will be my Mahantango longbow with the same arrows. If I'm fortunate enough to make some meat early then I'll bring out my new to me Jerry Hill also shooting the same arrows.

I'm ready.  For elk Widow PSA with Legacy 2020 and 180 grain silverflame.  For deer Widow PL same arrows but with 190 grain TreeShark.

I will be shooting my RER Arroyo with Heritage 150s that weigh in at 500 grains, and I shoot 54#s at 28.5"s. A Snuffer will be on the business end. That has been my go to bow for the last couple years. I also have a new RER XR that is 53#s at my 28.5"s that I have settled on Cedarsmith tapered cedars spined 77#s on the button with a 160 grain snuffers on them. I will hunt with this bow after I have a few deer under my belt with the Arroyo. Shawn

Since the end of last hunting season i've had lot's of change.  Had a stroke and now on disability. Had to scrap my homemade recurve "killer" my bow for the last 15 years.  also switching to carbons for the first time.  I like them.  Ted Fye fixed me up and tuning has been easy. Dryad bows fixed me up with a new Orion made to my new specs. I could understand the drop in my drawing strength but how my draw shortened up two inches is still a mystery to me. The Orion has fixed that problem.  Still getting used to screwing broadheads and points in to the shafts.  Loose points have always bugged me.  Still thinking of getting the old woodies out and cutting them off to fit the new me.  Got a bear trip lined up for a couple of weeks from now so I'm in the hurry stage. Got a couple more bows forsale to finance my stable.  If interest ed shoot me a PM.

Yep, My Homemade Osage 3pc Hybrid 52@26" with 28" Arrow Dynamic Nitro Stingers and a 250gr STOS (125gr head w/ 125gr adaptor) on the business end. These arrows fly perfect and are EFOC. I cant WAIT!!!!!!!

Lewis, I've been playing around with the Nitro Lites....at 29" with 250gr up front, gives a 500gr arrow w/ 30% FOC.  Shoots from every bow from 45# to 61#....should be good Medicine....

Yeah, have it pretty much settled.  Robertson Longbow, 62", 55 lb @ 26"; 700 gr laminated birch arrows; Ace Express 165 broadheads.  I'll be hunting Illinois whitetails.    

Thats what I have, its right at 500gr. And boy do they shoot good. I was shooting the Trad-lites but they were just a tad heavier than I liked when I tried to get the EFOC so I went with the nitro lites and they are perfect. I shoot them out of my 45 and 52 pound bow and they fly like darts!

I'm charged up about my setup this year.  I feel it's the best fitting setup I've had in my hands yet.  Pure confidence.... just put the "one" infront of me Lord!

When I feel like hunting with a longbow, I'll use my #48 Don Dow Stikbow, sweet shooter.

Looks like I'm down to 2-the Rose Oak and the Hoyt Gamemaster-not sure yet which one will be primary and which will be backup. Looks like the Habu and the Palmer will be sitting out this season

Got some nice bows in the stable but have not picked my hunting bow yet for this fall.They all shoot good and i like em all.Been buying and trading alot of bows since last season.Or really for 15 years.Anyway will make the decision in Sept.Might have a few more in the stable by then.It might be a romantic decision or one based on more pracitical reasons.whatever it is its gonna be fun.Once I decide though i will only shoot that one bow for 3 months or more.

Yeah I'm ready, I have my only Bow ready to kill its first deer this season! I'll be in the woods with my 50# Montana Longbow shooting some CE Heritage 150's tipped with 125gr Snuffers along with a 50gr brass insert that weigh in around 530 grains!!!!!! I looking at adding a new bow to the stable, Hopefully this time next year I'll be tuning a Marriah Chinook! I just have to pull the trigger!  

Yes pretty close.. it's down to a 60# 60" Griffin as primary and a 59# 56" Super Shrew as back-up.  Elk arrows are fir and fitted with 125 gr. Grizzly's for 620 grn. total weight and Gold Tip 5575 with 160 Grizzly's and 75 grn steel adapters at 545 gr. for deer. Both arrow choices fly great.
Now all I need are willing animals.. wish me luck!
