i have a 56 inch qwyk styk recurve with static limbs, what length string should i order?  i'm going to try a ts-1 plus string on it to see how it likes it...

I would try 52.5" and TS-1+ will work great!

Ya should order a 53.5" string I believe as Jack marks his bow different than most. Mine was marked 56"s but was actually 57"s and my string was 53.5"s and I still had top twist it quite a bit. Shawn

Yup, stretch it tight and measure, I would order a new flemish around 12 Strands. Shawn

Shawn's right, I own two and they both take AMO 57" strings....53" should be perfect or like Shawn said,you'll end up with too much twist(if there is such a thing)

I dont know if you fellas Know but Jack has changed his limb tips on Quick styk over the years his first ones like curt has the very narrow tips Jack made a second set for me like that and told me those early limbs require a longer string I also have a newer set of static tipss that has a 1/2" shorter strind to get proper brace height so you never know untill you measure

Measure the string with the bow braced at the proper BH.  It needs to be under pressure when you measure it.
