I plan to bring an A&H ACS CX 62" 61#@28
Back-up will be a Selway 'Lil Shooter 58" two-piece, 61#@27
Arrows will be Arrow Dynamics Trad Lites with a four-blade Magnus 150...
Already started practicing 10yds sittin' on a 6' ladder...I'm pumped already, only 11 months...but who's counting, right?  :bigsmyl:

Tom, I'll be shooting the same rig this year as last- Style I B riser Bear T/D, #1 limbs-60" 68#s-I'm trying to shorten my draw length a tad and if I'm successful it'll be 66# this year. That inch or so of arrow length make a big difference in the noise departmen with a bowquiver. I'll be shooting Easton 2317 arrows with razorheads and bleeders- again. I may or may not bring a backup, probably just limbs cause of flying.  GY

Fatman & grant the setups are more than sufficient !
Just recieved deposit from CADDO from Texas he is in for,Cool a new state represented at BQ III

hey anyone want to car pool? I'll pay for half the gas. Mom doesn't want me driving all the way to Canada alone and made me ask. We could meet in Mass and leave one car there or if I'm on your way you can pick me up in Stamford CT. I know we still have along time before the hunt but its good to get all the details worked out now.

Also what type of taxidermy did you guys do with your bears? and if you dont mind me asking what did it cost?

SCott,
I am planning that most of the guys will meet at my house and car pool from here unless guys a want to meet say in Greenfield,Ma etc.
I brought 5-6 Bears up to local full time taxidermist who is tanning some of the hides and making rugs with others.Prices start about $350.00 for tanned Bear Hide and half mounts $750.00 rugs run about $170.00 running foot. The quality is A-1.

Bretto and I will probably be flying in from Kansas City...Tom mentioned Albany as a possible airport to fly-in...are there some guys coming through?  Looks like Boston is too far east....

We were going to carpool from my place....bowdoc

tippit

Boston isn't a bad connect as we cut diagonally across NH to the Canadian border.  Albany is probably and little shorter but not much...Doc

Yeah, I know it's a ways off but I already talked to a couple of people to see if maybe we can't make that diagonal cut outta Boston/my house-a full truck is a full truck so I wouldn't feel guilty not going out to Tommy's first which I will gladly do if my vehicle is not PACKED. Hopefully gas won't be $10/gallon by then. Getting new ball joints today at 90K. These trucks take a beating!
Are you going both weeks Doc?
bowdoc, we got to head northwest from your place-I'll drive!  :)

Fatman- Albany is pretty convenient to use. I flew in there last year (out as well) and it was a snap to find Bowdoc waiting in the baggage area. It would have been easy to find Bowdoc in Manhattan though, lol. I was so pumped up I could have dealt with anyplace. I'm already fired up for next June. Look forward to meeting everyone.

I think I'll just jump on the old Delta-airlines again. That seems to work great for me..shortly after Linda(bowdoc)Ward drops Don(bowdoc)Ward's goat smellenoldass off at seatac airport...7-9 hrs later me and my favorite boy Tommy are hugging each other...well I don't mean hugging like that. You know what I mean...hugging like two dudes would....hummm I don't think I mean like that eather.....oh well, see ya'all soon..bowdoc

Caddo

It's a pretty good haul for me to drive, but I'm considering it. If anyone wants to share the ride up, I'm game.

If I fly, I'll bring the Apache.
If I drive, I don't have a Kodiak but will a '59 Grizzly work?

59' Griz will work fine !! YOu might be able to connect with a couple of the Southern Boys to hitch a ride !!

Good to know car pooling shouldn't be a problem and sounds like you guys gave a good taxidermist.

I might have missed this but where in Canada are we hunting?
