As a dealer for Jack Kempf...he gets my vote. I've been shooting his bows for years.

With that said, my suggestion is to attend some Trad functions where dealers are setup and shoot as many bows possible to find the right one that fits your shooting style. Like Denton Hill, Comptons, Whittingham and Sawmill, New Jersey.

You don't want to spend a ton of money on a bow and be disappointed when it finally arrives. Call the bowyers that offer a "test drive" and go from there.
"Neal...is this heaven?" "No Piute but we are dam close". Top of the Mtn in Medicine Bow Nat Forest.

Black Widow - I have shot most if not all the bows listed on this thread.   But, that is for me.   What fits me best might not even make someone's list.  One size does not fit all.

RER bows fine craftmanship they are quiet, quick and smooth. You can pay more for a bow but I believe you cant get a better bow than A RER bow. Kevin and Sue are oustanding people to deal with both before and after the sale..
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!
