Javalinas are not pigs. They are not related to swine. More along the lines of a South American Taiper. Piggy looking snout, but not a pig. Yes, they can open their mouths that wide.

You all know that even though I give Donald heck at times that I am so in love with this man.  God blessed me with Donald and I want to be the kind of wife he can be proud of.  Donald is the most amazing husband, he is kind caring and compssionate and my needs to matter (well except when he is hunting)  LOL

WOW! The taxidermist did a really great job on the Javi's looks. Howz he smell? LOL!

Glad to see you had his mounted. That is a great memory I have of you standing and waiting patiently for him to turn perfectly broadside. Good stuff! CK

Thanks, I loved that hunt with you and can not wait for another. Remember to keep me posted on an Axis hunt. Also if you are doing anymore hunts on the Odessa ranch I would love to go back there.

I love the job the taxidermist did. The javi is a little musky smelling if you get right up on him, but not a bad smell. LOL.

If you do a dvd of hunts and mine is on it I would love to have one for memories.

Once on a bet when I was young and stupid I sneaked up to one and slapped him on the butt...I had NO IDEA I could run that fast!
