I'm having a hard time finding a 200 gr broadhead, or a combo of something near 200 grains and the appropriate weight adapter.  Could you post links to purchase head and/or adapters that will give me the 200 grains I need?

I shoot 200 gr heads almost exclusively: 160 gr STOS with a 40gr long aluminum adapter, Simmons interceptor screw in190gr (closer to 200 and a bit more than that with the bleeder), Simmons Treeshark screw ins, and 125gr Wensel woodsmans with 75gr steel insert. I also shoot the old Pearson Deadheads, about 130 gr and melt solder into the ferule then add a short aluminum adapter to get it to 200 (they are too valuable for the steel insert which might bend the ferule so the aluminum is a better choice for me for that head).

With today's wide variety of adapters, it's very easy to get very, very close to 200 with multiple heads: 30 short aluminum, 40gr long aluminum, 75/100/125 gr steel adapters. I use solder melted into the hollow adapters to get exactly the weight I need if I'm using an unusual head weight.

Like JC said getting to 200gr should be no problem with the variety to heads & adapters out there. I personally shoot 160gr Ace standards w/100 gr steel adapters on the end of my carbons. Ace also makes a 200 gr broadhead that with an aluminum adapter would give you just over 200gr.

Dalebow, see Van's link to 3rivers...they have most every adapter you can think of...and yes the 75gr steel too.

Buy the hollow aluminum adaptors and melt lead shotgun shot into the hollow opening.  I did this for a 200 gr Judo head.  Wasn't much work.

I'll second the Muzzy Phantom, 200 gr with out the bleeder.

160 grain heads are widely available, and on a 42 grain long adapter will give you lots of choices at the 200 grain finished weight.  A Grizzly 190 on a glue in Flite Mate style adapter will put you at 200 also...you've got quite a few options.

I shoot Razorcaps at 200 grains, or 125 WW with 75 gr steel adapter.  You can get the adapters at 3 Rivers.  I also think Steel Force makes one that is around 200 gr but I don't have any experience with them.

I shoot 200 gr almost exclusivly. Simmons Safari screw ins,Ace Super Express glue ons. Also old Mohawk Magnum I's with a 100 gr steel adapter puts it up a little above 200 gr. Hunters Heads with the 100 gr steel adapter also.

I guess I should have been more specific in that I'm looking for my optimal set up.  

I want a screw-in 200 grain broadhead that needs no adapters and cost no more than $30 for six.    

I don't want cost to be a factor in me flinging these things at animals other than deer, only my own shooting ability.

I know I know, good luck, BUT that's what these boards are for, eh?

I think your going to be limited to muzzy's or simmons that's about all the options to fit your bill.

The price will be easy enough to take care of but not sure why you are limiting yourself to no adapters...no real reason not to use them.

160 grain STOS, ACE, Ribtek, Magnus Mag I with 30-35 grain aluminum screw-in adapter should do the trick.
