I just got a mint condition Dale Dye recurve that I'm sending to Dale to remove the original owners name. I don't want Dale to put my name on it either as it wasn't built for me but I would like to change the inscription. Here's what I've come up with....any other suggestions?
       Good Medicine Made For
            Makin Meat
            Making Memories
            Success
            A Walk in the Woods
            Short Bloodtrails
            Counting Coup
            The Predator Within
Do not follow where the path may lead.  Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trail.

"A Walk in the Woods" is the title of the Compton publication.  I think it would make a nice bow inscription as well.

Fred,

Pull it out of your signature line, Leave A Trail!  Or if I follow what you are proposing, Good Medicine Made For   Leaving   A  Big Blood   Trail.

I going to have to say "Making Memories"....

It may be just me but I always remember what bow was in hand when I think back to all the great memories hunting has given me....

If I was  you, I would go with

"1/4/away"
If it's in your way, move it.

I'm leaning towards...A Walk in the Woods or
                     Short Bloodtrails
Do not follow where the path may lead.  Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trail.

You couldn't go wrong with "Trad Gang". If everyone put that on their bows, we wouldn't ever have to change anything.
If it's in your way, move it.
