I have the cap dip done, ready for cresting. I'm probably going with a simple crest, nothing too fancy. Still thinking on fletch colors, going to do a modified banana cut.

Hopefully tomorrow, I just put the clear dip on them today after cresting.  I'm thinking they will have some pink and white fletch....which I know goes against the stealthiness of a wolf, but I seem to pick those colors up the best in flight.

Nice.  I just bought some in the classifieds here.  What are you using for crown dip?  Is the anything special you need to do for prep?  I've used Duco and Saunders NVP and both seem to be holding up ok for the fletching, but I've been told that Duco won't work on aluminum. 

I use True North Paints, they are water based. I switched from Bohning products 12-13 years ago. I used fletchtite with Bohning products, I use Duco with the True North products. I always did/do a clear dip with both products if I'm not doing a cap dip to help with the glue adhesion. I've not had any issues with either glues when I've used them. I clean the shafts with a cleaner from True North to prep the shafts now, when I was using Bohning product I used their thinner to clean shafts.
