Being a purchase made on a US book vendor website, the delivery was not too bad, though the last leg seemed to take a while as for some reason the package was switched from a courier to the local Post Office.

A nice find and a book I was only made aware of due to reading up some of the old posts on this forum.

An extra bonus, the seller made no mention that there was any writing in the book...in the form of a few signatures. Possibly, a few of the names who signed the book I purchased are still around & active on the forum?
Anyway, a nice addition to a really interesting book, which will be given a prominent place on the bookshelf - once I've worked out which room I am putting it in!

I also have a first edition of this book, less the signatures.  Some of them are easily recognizable: Fred Asbell, who needs no introduction, and T. j. Conrads, who is the editor of the book.  Dave Doran was the owner of Archery Past for many years, who was well known and liked by those of us who attended traditional tournaments up and down the West Coast.  I see there is another Conrads there, perhaps TJ's wife?  I don't recognize the last signature.

Could the other signature be Larry Fischer? Would make sense given TJ and Robin signed it.

I'll do some more research into the folk named, but so far it looks like the quiver purchase which led me to this forum, has resulted in the book being purchased, which itself is now going to see me track down one of the CRKT knives....and no doubt also see how many of the Fred Asbell books etc. I can also find!

It's nice to have a hobby which doesn't consume all my spare cash.
