Anyone have any suggestions for a good waterproofer (preferably spray on) for nylon tent?  My Eureka Timberline has left me wet the last few times I camped in the rain.  Thanks for any suggestions!

I use "Silicone water-guard" purchased from wally world. It's a heavy duty water repellent.
One good application lasts all year. Make sure you spray all your seams especially good. Inside and out.  I even spray the floor.
I reckon so

You can always erect a big, honking tarp over it - kind of a tent over a tent.  It's nice to be able to keep the windows open even when it's raining.

There is any seem sealer just called
"seem sealer" it comes in a small white and green bottle, it's about 3 or 4 in. tall.  I have used it on my eurekas for years, one can't I have is 15 years old, I have never been wet in that tent, I use the seem sealer about every three years.  The bottle has a ball on the top of it when you take the cap off, it is a roll on type applicator.

I used to purchase it at REI

I have heard of people using Thompson water sealer, but it will flake and peel off.

I sprayed silicon on an older nylon tent and it disintegrated within a few months.     Pat

What broken Arrow said! My Eureka is about is about 14 years old and lives in a stuff sack behind my truck seat or in the rack bag on the ATV. I seal it with seam sealer every 2 or 3 years and it ain't leaked a drop yet.

The stuff I use is called Camp Dry.  It is a spray on waterproofer that is like Rain-X for your car.  Water just beads up and runs off.  I put it on a few times a year just to make sure my tent is ready to go when I need it.
