Hey, back on Trad Gang after a long time out of traditional archery. Picked up a Black Hunter at the Ky Trad Fest to see how I liked a little longer and lighter draw weight recurve. Been shooting it a bit and getting back into the swing of things. My question is - if just shooting for fun at the TN Classic can you shoot from where you feel comfortable? I don't want to lose a bunch of arrows and I know I won't be shooting over 15 yards by this weekend. Definitely going to head down for a day and look for some wood shafts (love wood arrows - easier to work on at home and just feel better to me) and check out everything else. Thanks,vAnthony

Wood Duck, you can shoot from any of the stakes but not from outside, either side of the shooting lane. ...also there are target butts from about 15 yards out to about 50 yards.

Was going to drive over this afternoon till I saw the weather report, headed out in the a.m. instead. Newbie here and first trad event, can't wait to get there. Safe travels for all that are going.

We are here for the first time.   Shot a longbow round yesterday.  Shooting recurve round today. What a great course. Every lane is a diorama of what you might see in nature.  The setting is great the weather perfect and the people are fantastic.  Thanks Twin Oaks Bow Hunters.

I just got home a while ago. This was an excellent Tennessee Classic, I think only the second in 28 years without rain during the event. There were 1005 folks signed up to shoot but with family members, venders and folks there to just check it out Pappy estimated 2000 folks showed up.
 I'll post pics and more info after I have a rest.

This was my first time to the Tennessee Classic and had a great time.  Thanks to all who helped put it together!
