There's not 2026 highlight board yet so I thought I'd put it here.

...after picking up a recurve in November and getting a lynx this winter with it, I was eager to get it out again this spring. The goal was a spot and stalk black bear. I wasn't going to be picky with the first tag - whatever presented a shot and was legal.

It all came together last night on my second evening out!

Congrats, thats an awesome bear! Spot and stalk is exciting as well!

I'm heading out for spring bear in 3 weeks. Can't wait!

Nick, congratulations on a very nice spring bear.  It had to be a tough spot and stalk in an area of blow downs. How far did the bear go, before landing in a great spot for pictures.

The stalk was about 300 yards after I spotted him and where he is in that photo is about 100 yards away from where I took the shot.
