I did a run and (gun) bow turkey hunt a couple of days ago. Was using the sling pack sold by Traditional Woodsman built by Teresa Asbell.  It's a FANTASTIC pack. Great quality, carries my hen decoy in main pouch and little stuff in other three pouches.  It's quiet, comfortable and you can slide the compartment around to your chest to get things and slide it back around in place without taking it off.  I can wear it with my side quiver or my Hill style back quiver.  I've used a lot of pricey packs over the years but this is perfect and half the price.  Roger is a good friend of mine (full disclosure) but he's also a good bow hunter and knows good equipment.
The Asbell wool jacket is great as well.  Drapes well so no issues with shooting a 68" longbow, it's dead quiet, good natural colors and well made.
These are both sponsors here on Tradgang but more importantly selling two fantastic products.

I watch the youtube interview with Roger and it was good stuff.

I too have one of their sling packs, and I love it. I used it in Texas for three weeks. And all I had to do was grab it and go and refill it every night with water bottles. He had everything I needed inside it from water to toilet paper to sharpeners, thermal cell, flashlights.  Blood trailed marking type. I can't remember what all I had in there. I usually just took it off where I was set up to hunt for the day because hunting heavily and hogs is pretty mobile. But it was nice to have all that and lunch in there as well at my availability, whenever I needed it. How don't suppose I'll ever need another day pack the rest of my life.

I third it on that sling pack. Most comfortable pack I have had.and plenty of room for what I need.
I also have a grey/black anorak (don't know what they call it)I am going to order another one. Not because it's worn, I just want a lighter colored cover.

Exactly Terry.  I've had the typical two strap day packs and haversacks and they always seemed to have a fault or two that really bugged me.  This pack just fits and covers my needs for turkeys and local whitetail and bear hunting.  If I were going to head out west again for mountain elk or mule deer hunt I 'might' go with standard pack.

Gary,
I really like the pattern I'm wearing in picture above.  It's perfect for my spring turkey hunt before green up and fall whitetail on the ground.  I'm in brown leaves ground situations a lot like the background in my picture above and it blends in nicely.

I have one of Roger's sling packs too. I've shared about it on here a few times. It's absolutely one of my favorite pieces of hunting gear. I've put all my other packs in the closet and haven't thought about them again.

Roger's pack attaches nicely to my Waldrop PacSeat, too, which is a big deal for me.
