I was finally able to spend a few minutes in conversation with Gene Hopkins at tge PBS banquet. We have a mutual friend in Teresa Asbell. We are so fortunate to have a man like Gene collecting and curating our archery history. If you ever get a chance to hear him speak (especially on Ishi) or see his display, do it. So interesting.

Gene is a good one!!  John Kabisa from Michigan is also a collector and displays next to Gene at many events.  He's also a great guy to talk with about historical finds. 

I really enjoyed Gene's seminar on Ishi at the PBS banquet. His collection is amazing also.
