He sent this picture to our text group every year

  He is missed by many. A true pillar in the traditional world. Will Geer in "Jeremiah Johnson" was classic. Some people, and the memories, will live in the heart forever.

Yup.  I think of our buddy often. 

I didn't know Ron very well, but talked to him a few times on the phone. He was a wealth of info and fun to talk to.

He set me up with a 51# classic Hunter and a set of Sitka Spruce arrows from Paul Jalon. It was a nice setup.

It is tough tho - getting older. I lost a good friend a couple of weeks ago. We went into the Army together in October of '72.

He had some awesome pics from back in the day, and I'm sure some awesome stories to go along.
