Looking good, Roger. I'm really enjoying my sling pack. It's one of my favorite pieces of hunting gear. I actually just sent you a message on here the other day telling you what I was doing to connect it to my PacSeat, which is another one of my favorite pieces of gear. We had talked about it in a thread on here before, and when I was looking at my sling pack the other night, I realized I hadn't given you an update on how I was using it with my PacSeat.

I bought some Velcro One-Wrap, which is a roll of Velcro that attaches to itself, and you can cut pieces to length. I'm using one small piece on the grab handle at the top and two pieces on each of the lower attachment points for the sling. I wrap those around the frame of the PacSeat, and it holds tight. And I can leave the velcro loops attached to the PacSeat when I remove the sling pack, either while hunting or at home. It's simple, and it works. Anyway, just thought I'd share in case someone else ever asks.

That sounds awesome! I would love to see a picture of that! Thanks!

Next time I have it set up for hunting, I'll take a picture and post it here.

I'm always tinkering with my PacSeat setup, and I'm playing around with another idea right now, too. If it pans out, I may post that as well.

I wish I had invented the Pac Seat. It is just about perfect. I am always tinkering with mine.

Yep. I love mine.

I even bought one of the turkey hunting versions for my son (about to be 12) that he carries. And I steal it from him occasionally during turkey season.

Roger and Snuffer,

Sorry for the delay on this. Meant to do it sooner.

Anyway, here are some pictures. It's nothing all that inventive or spectacular—just easy. The only thing required is some Velcro One-Wrap, which is basically a roll of Velcro that attaches to itself. That means that you can not only use the One-Wrap to attach something like your Sling Pack to the PacSeat, but when it's not attached, you can wrap the cut strips of the One-Wrap around the tubing of the seat so that it's always there and ready to go. (Here is a link to what I bought: https://www.velcro.com/products/organization-general-purpose/heavy-duty-one-wrap-roll/)

Again, nothing very inventive here, but here's how it looks. (Ignore the quiver attached to the PacSeat. It's another idea I'm tinkering with.)

SlingPack1.jpg

As you can see, I bought my PacSeat right after they introduced the "meat shelf" feature, which lets the seat slide all the way through the frame and be used as a shelf of sorts. That's how I configure the PacSeat when I attach the Sling Pack to it. I set the Sling Pack onto the shelf and attach the grab handle to the top bar of the seat using a strip of One-Wrap.

I then use two more strips of One-Wrap to attach the lower part of the bag to the PacSeat frame, so it doesn't shift left and right on the meat shelf as I walk. I undo the sling from the lower attachment points on the Sling Pack, then run the One-Wrap through each of those. Again, ignore the quiver :)

But that's about it. It's a super easy and super quick way to carry my Sling Pack whenever I am using my PacSeat. And when I'm not using the PacSeat, I can quickly remove the Sling Pack, knowing all my gear is already in it and ready to go. (I've done two bags before—one that stayed attached to the PacSeat and another I carried when I wasn't using the PacSeat—and I was always missing something.)

Let me know if you have any questions.

Sure thing. After I posted those pictures and looked back at them I couldn't help but notice how perfectly your pack fits in and fills that space on the back of the seat. I don't think I could find anything that would fit better.
